Now you know what's in store for you. it's not anything you'll enjoy.

You know Steve, you might be right, if Trump's defensive team was anything like it was late last night, I won't enjoy that at all.

Steve last night Trump’s Impeachment Defense Started So Badly That Even A Republican Senator Mocked It. Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy blasted Donald Trump’s legal team as disorganized, random, and embarrassed of their own points after the first day of arguments in the former president’s impeachment trial Tuesday.

The trial began with Trump lawyer Bruce Castor giving a meandering speech that included hard-to-follow asides about things like the legal culture in Nebraska that baffled observers. At one point, My Cousin Vinny, the classic 1992 courtroom comedy where Joe Pesci bombs while opening the big trial, was trending on Twitter. The day ended with the Senate voting 56–44 that it is constitutionally valid to hold an impeachment trial for Trump even though he is no longer president.

Now the real story is in this timeline of Rep. Neguse's timeline of evidence. Take your time and watch the first report and let's talk about your findings.

To stop what? To stop the crowd from doing what you with the benefit of hindsight can see them doing on some random recording? Remember Ron, I approve of the riot. There was no reason foir Trump to stop it.

What makes Trump responsible for stopping a riot he didn't start? The people that committed crimes will be punished. Trump wasn't one of them Ron.

This is that President Trump once again, who failed us. Because when the violence erupted and we in The Law Enforcement and officials protecting, us protecting you. We’re under attack, as each of you is being evacuated from this chamber. He could have immediately and forcefully intervene to stop the violence.

Steve, it was his duty as Commander and Chief, to stop the violence and that was something he could have done alone because he had that power, I am sure you can agree with that, RIGHT?
