President Biden’s announcement of 11 diverse nominees for federal court seats raises questions about the future of the Supreme Court. Some Democrats would like to see Justice Stephen Breyer step down so that Biden can nominate a new justice – possibly a Black woman – while he still has a majority of the Senate.
