Trump voter's soft sentence for voter fraud contrasts with Black woman's case in Texas

Rachel Maddow compares the case of a white man in Pennsylvania convicted of voter fraud after lying about casting a ballot for his dead mother in order to give Donald Trump an extra vote and sentenced to probation, with the case of a Black woman in Texas who faces a five-year prison sentence for not realizing she wasn't eligible to vote.

Did you understand that the first case was a woman who thought she was in the right, you did see that, now didn't you?

This is old news Ron. It's two different states and the cases have nothing in common. We've been all over this.

You also saw that a man who was busted for LYING about voting for his dead mother, and then when the state busted him, he wrote a letter, lying to the state, that his mother was alive and she voted for TRUMP, you did see that didn't you steve?

The Texas woman had a prior felony, the Pennsylvania man didn't. Voter fraud is widespread.

The woman is in Texas did not go out to commit voter fraud and this Pennsylvania man directly came to committed voter fraud and he lied to states officials about his mother being alive, as he cased a fraudulent vote for Trump.
