The death penalty belongs in the 'dustbin of history'

Rev. Al Sharpton calls for an end to capital punishment. In twenty-four states across the country, the death penalty is still perfectly legal.

Capital punishment should be swift and sure.

I see, Steve did you see this video report and understand who is getting charged with capital punishment, disproportionately?

Of course I saw it Ron, because I watch Sharpton religiously on both Saturday and Sunday at 5 PM. The thing he doesn't talk about here is the strength of the evidence in each individual case. For instance, if I were as sure of the evidence against Chauvin as you are, I'd have no problem putting a bullet between his eyes either. In Chauvin's case I don't feel that certainty so the death penalty wouldn't be justified.

Why Steve?

If you mean why do I lack that certainty about Chauvin it's because I listened to all the testimony and I saw the whole trial was botched Ron.

That's BULL 💩 Steve and you know it because you saw over 9 minutes of evidence in the murder of George Floyd, much of it was as he pleaded Chauvin for his life and you saw the look on Chauvin's face of confidence in his superiority in this case.

That man has been found guilty and he never did try to explain is actions. Steve, Chauvin lied in the police report as well. This man was guilty a hell and this was not the first time this murderer had placed his knee on the back of the neck of the people he was trusted to serve.

The trial should not have been held until the pandemic was over and all four officers should have been tried together because all were guilty. And if Chauvin did what you said Ron, he should get the death penalty.

So just make certain of the verdict and there won't be any miscarriage of justice. What's Sharpton's problem?

President Joe Biden told reporters Wednesday he gave Russian President Vladimir Putin a list of 16 critical infrastructure "entities" that must be "off-limits" to cyberattacks and hinted at major retaliation from the United States should Russia allow continued malign activity in the sphere.

Biden, speaking ahead of his press conference following a slate of bilateral meetings with Putin and Russian officials, claimed the topic of cybersecurity was included in a discussion on establishing a "mechanism" for "strategic stability."

It was a stupid move. If one of those "entities" are attacked now, then Biden is committed. Only an idiot would box himself in like that, especially since he's too much of a dingleberry to follow through on his threat. And no matter what he says, there is no way to be sure who an attacker is. What if China attacks and Biden retaliates against Russia? What a mess Biden will cause. Is causing.

The point of Biden’s decision was to make it clear to Putin to respect those Boundaries.
