‘Countless Blacks’ In The South Speak Like Herschel Walker, White Writer Claims
Michael Tracey’s remark is an insult to the “countless” Black people around the region.

Written By Anoa Changa

If writer Michael Tracey didn’t know Black people weren’t a monolith, he indeed learned today. Tracey, who is white, tried to be clever on Twitter by claiming that Walker speaks like “countless Black people” in the south in defense of Herschel Walker.

There is a brand of contrarian commentary claiming that the Georgia Republican Senate candidate is attacked for how he speaks, which is similar to “countless Blacks” in the South. Claiming that Black Southerners speak a certain way or have a narrowly defined type of speech is racist. Not to mention referring to southern Black people as simply “countless Blacks” erases the variety in experience across the region.

Ron, MSNBC has said that "blacks' in Alabama and Louisiana should have two 'black" districts instead of the one that each currently has. It sounds like Chris Hayes (white boy?) thinks "blacks" are a monolith.

No, Steve, the new map was redrawn so the Republicans can make 1 Black Ward one of Two Black Wards which means instead of two votes, "blacks' in Alabama and Louisiana should have two 'black" districts instead of the one VOTE, that is CORRECT Steve.

If any party is actively taking part in Rigging The Elections is The Republicans and you can see on paper, where you and anyone else can see and read the evidence.

Ron, if "blacks" in Alabama and Louisiana need two Representatives instead of one, that tells me "blacks" ARE a monolith.

Therefore I conclude that: "Claiming that Black Southerners speak a certain way or have a narrowly defined type of speech is NOT racist." Herschel Walker is in good company. You should not make fun of the way he speaks.

Why change the voting map in this election? All I’m talking about is having proper representation As people in those states, in the nation. What are you doing Steve, are you smoking that💩 and you are hearing Herschel Walker in Pennsylvania know? WOW!!! I am not making fun of the way Herschel talks. Are you losing your mind? If you know that then, show me where I’m laughing in this blog at Herschel Walker can you do that?

Answer my questions on your next reply OK!

I will Ron. This article is saying in effect, "it's okay to make fun of the way Herschel talks because it's not really racist to make fun of the way he talks, because not all Southern blacks speak that way, because "blacks" are not a monolith." But you need extra districts because "blacks" ARE a monolith, they always vote Democrat, unless they don't mind being outcasts and the wrong kind of "black". Real "blacks" stick together, always, it's that leftover slave mentality.

YOUR WORDS: you need extra districts because "blacks" ARE a monolith, they always vote Democrat, unless they don't mind being outcasts and the wrong kind of "black". Real "blacks" stick together, always, it's that leftover slave mentality.

MY REPLY: Now Steve, what are you doing, feeling your so-call white privilege or superiority, today? You sound like you might be feeling by the way you used your word reminded me back to those good old days when there was a lot of that feeling of a false sense of security people had in the south.

Was that your message Steve?
