The educator Booker T. Washington founded the school in 1881 and served as its principal until his death in 1915. The Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute (the school’s fourth name; 1891–1937) inculcated Washington’s principles of providing practical training for African Americans and helping them develop economic self-reliance through the mastery of manual trades and agricultural skills.

Did the negro educator; Booker T. Washington ever use the term AfricanAmerican to identify hisSelf or others?

Where slaves and slaveDescendants; 1881 - masters of manual trades and agriculture from Slavery training?

After reading a little deeper in Booker T. Washington past, I don’t believe he used the term AfricanAmerican.

"...Over 300 chapters of NNBL were created across the country consisting of African American

small business owners such as physicians, business entrepreneurs, craftsmen and others who had achieved

success in creating their own business..."

So 'after reading and understanding' this quote in deaCON SUBJECT; IT probably should read:

"...Over 300 chapters of NNBL were created across the country consisting of NEGRO or black

small business owners such as physicians, business entrepreneurs, craftsmen and others who had achieved

success in creating their own business..."

Mr. Robert Powell, now that revision to my statement sounds great, but that was not the question you asked me.
