Here's a teaser:
On Sunday afternoons, my friends and I can be found at the pancake house, feasting on chicken apple sausages, waffles, pancakes and cheese grits, a caloric heaven that we have been starving ourselves all week to enjoy.

The breakfast is good, but it’s our conversations that keep us coming back.
Collectively we¬¬--the Libra, the Pisces and the Cancer—have survived divorce, affairs, and rumors of affairs, baby momma and baby daddy drama, dragonlady bosses, job losses, promotions, random acts of stupidity, hideous hairstyles, misdirected angry emails and crimes of passion.

To our credit, we have kept the in-fighting to a minimum and our sisterhood circle has remained trump tight for the past three years.

Until recently.

Karen, I like your Blog's layout. Tell a brother, how you did it. I'm starting to get the hang of all this technology but I'm a long ways aways. Hook a brother up! :)

I loved the story and hopefully the doll issue will be a stepping stone in "building" your sisterhood.

kenneth X, I have a bit of an advantage. I wrote a column for the New York Daily News for five years...so I don't really blog, as much as I commentate. Now as far as the physical layout, I just surf for photos that match my topic and drop it in and go from there.
Keep writing and stick to one clear point and drive it home.

Wow!!!! what a very interesting day. It is great to see communication between sisters exchanged in such a way that it builds up the bond within the group instead of tearing it down. The story reminds me of myself and two friends. We have been through thick and thin, utility turn offs, getting kicked out of homes, bringing one another in our homes, job hunting and stepping in and rescue from abusive relationships. Our falling out was over something that was conjured up in the mind of a friend that had the other two scrambling around to find out what happened and then apologizing relentlessly for whatever it could be. In the end we all had a good laugh, because it was silly, however our relationship became strong and remained the same.

THAT was hilarious! No matter how hard we try, eventually we all are just stupid human beings anyway. Great story!
