Freedom to use speech as a weapon?

Please pardon my language but seriously man, we can't let these muthaf*ckas win off some old racist bullsh*t. I am watching my local news before I go to work this morning and I see a story about a little misguided white child who thinks he is exercising his freedom of speech by denigrating Barack Obama on a hand made t-shirt. Obviously, he has been led to believe what he put on his shirt (A vote for Obama is a vote for terroists) is the gospel truth which made him emboldened enough to take it public. I have no doubt he has not been given enough information to make an informed decision. At his age (I am guessing 11 or 12), I don't know if he is mature enough to understand the complexities even if he was informed. This is the kind of ignorance that is being bred out there folks. We can not let this stand without challenge. We can not let our votes go to waste. I am NOT telling anyone they have to vote for Barack Obama merely because he is black. I am telling you that you should make an informed decision and vote your conscience. I am of the opinion that of the two candidates, Barack's stated approach to our economics woes, international relations, domestic policy, and energy problems is better than what McCain offers. It doesn't hurt that he looks like someone I can hang with (moreso because he is a big basketball fan than anything). He APPEARS a little more trustworthy than those I have seen so far. But don't let the ignorance win by default. Don't waste your vote by not using it intelligently.

Who knows maybe that kid was a graduate from KIds on Fire camp , that I blogged about. At this point 300 or more are walking around indoctrinated by right wing Evangelicals. GOP will do whatever it takes to attemp to steal this election.

There is no telling. I just think it is a sign that we can't let thinking like that go unchallenged. I appreciate your reply.
